Microsoft is claiming intellectual property rights to many of the basic Internet protocols according to Merit Networks which could mean that Microsoft over time could claim the whole Internet. Why don't we all present our backs to Microsoft and give them a knife as well.

Microsoft have settled an anti-trust case with Novell by offering to pay Novell $536 million after years of legal wrangling bringing the total Microsoft have paid Novell to very nearly $3 billion in anti-trust settlements. Also the CCIA has finished its 8 year investigation and anti-trust case brought by the US Dept of Justice. And so Microsoft settlements go on and on.

Microsoft is expected to announce that it will indemnify nearly all its customers against any claims that their use of Microsoft software infringes on any intellectual property claims. We should Coco as well Microsoft since it is Microsoft who keep infringing patent rights not the hapless customer of Microsoft.

Microsoft is getting ready to launch its own search engine on Thursday to compete with Google.

Microsoft make $100 million from Halo 2 game on the first day of sales. Microsoft expects to sell more than 10 million copies around this month making it a great cash cow. Does it cost Microsoft $1 to make each copy.

Microsoft have rejected Intel Itanium 2 chips from its operating systems for clusters. Microsoft will only support iAMD64 processors with its Windows Server 2003 Compute Cluster Edition because apparently they are too expensive and too powerful for small clusters. Ooppss, bed fellows seem to he having a tiff.

Microsoft Windows XP update is beginning to purge pirated copies with pirated keys. Pirate users are invited to either validate their copy, buy a legal version or loose functionality of their copy of Windows XP.
