Ok. So now show me one who plays Dooms 3 at 640x480...

The PM is a nice chip. For mobile. There are better amnd cheaper chips like A64 for desktops with working QnC. I have one of the first gen A64 3200+ an the fan is off during idle modus. What could I ask more for? The new stepping or even a 0.9 S939 athlon would even run cooler.

I don't care if it uses 70 or 25W under full load on a desktop. But as I said, the 64bitness give me more. And yes, I have a app for that 64bit registers: ssh with 2048 bit key... try that on an standard XP and you wait 10 seconds for each login. No, it's no killer app but nice.
