It may come down to how old the new battery is & how fast your MoBo burned up the orginal battery in whatever condition it was in. The battery to holder connection pressure may change alittle to with the thinner 2025 battery. You may even may have to bend up the lowwer contact alittle to. If you went thru the first battery fast then your MoBo may not have a working charging circuit.
Now lets say all batteries are new, & the orginal battery lasted 6 years (guessing here).
Doing the math (divide battery mah / 6 years) gave me 36.666666 mah average use a year.
36.6 mah used a year X 4 years = 146.66666 total needed mah's for 4 years.
So battery 2025 with 160 mah - 146.6 usage = 13.4 mah extra juice, if a good battery.
If my guess is close you have very little head room & if it lasts the whole 4 years is iffy.
When battery power gets low the voltage drops down plus the voltage it can drop down real low for short periods trying to maintain constant current.
So a fresh battery 2025 should work in this example & could fail too.
I have never tested batteries that close before & I dont know the fraction of useful life under a high or a low drain (your computor battery) .
