The incadentsent (sorry spelling) light bulbs had to be displayed at special show events so people could come see them. You had to have a gas powered generator to power them & that made it slow to catch on. In that show only a few bulbs were big & tesla was holding onto one powered thru his body & someone from edisons camp. The rest of the bulbs were smaller. I have been to greenfield village which has edison bulbs there & they small, not alot of light with a creepy color & the filiment looked very different from modern bulbs. Now the poeple did not know what to make of the new bulbs but from what I seen on the show & I remember they did not get scared real bad. The TV show was short & did not cover many things & I have seen other shows in the past & this one did give Tesla more credit. In the past a show showing Edison's DC generator powered a city of street lights & the bulbs got dimmer the more distance from the generator.
