yeah I tried that the first time. there were 2 files that I had to skip during the initial file copy (some .swf file, and tourW.exe) and I kept doing maneuver like switching the disc and the drive that the disc was in and opening/closing the drive or just hitting enter, but then when it got to the end of XP install it blue screened.

No matter. I really don't have the time or the patience for this, especially not within newegg's return window for the cpu. So sadly, I just sent it back. Guess I shoulda stuck with my first reaction to buy prebuilt. College just started back up and I'm working so I just don't have the time.
