Boot to the CD, first screen asks if you want to Repair using the recovery console, no you want to install XP, then screen two comes up and since it finds XP is already there it will ask if you want to repair it. YES, you do so it will actually do a complete reinstall of XP, including insert the key and when it finally finishes about an hour later you should have everything intact with the nice new drivers for the new mainboard it didn't like in the first place. Just be sure instead of choosing install on that screen you choose repair. Took me awhile to figure out I sure didn't want that Repair Console thing on the first screen.

Sometimes this will not work. When I switched to this NF2 board it was whizzing along and suddenly aborted the repair and that was the ball game.
However I had one install that went through 3 different mainboards and chipsets that were fine
and all my stuff was intact.
