Yes I told you what SUSE said. Mandrake came up with some oddities on my old Epox 8KTA+ right before it died too.

This board has had a ram recognition problem. Had a 256 meg stick from Baldy that it read as 128 meg,(It's now on an ECS K7S5A running as 256 meg quite nicely) a couple of sticks from MS he thought were 128's that it read as 64's and that never ending switching to
Safe mode on the processor on reboot. (Bios would pop up showing the reset of the processor speed)

I really think it's time to chuck this board and give it a decent burial.
