IMO I really don't think that s754 will be gone anytime soon, why else would they be releasing the semperon's in that flavor? AMD has been pretty good about keeping a socket around for a while. That is the reason I left my intel setup for this A64, I was happy with s478 but apparently Intel wasn't. But I am glad I did go that route, the A64 are really good chips. |
