I guess next up is a video card; the market for these seems to be a mess, to me. I can't keep track of it. The latest greatest cards seem quite pricy, so I was thinking maybe a step or two down. If it was near $200 that'd be nice, but I don't really know what I'm talking about. Maybe the radeon 9800 pro, or nvidia 5700, 5700 ultra, or 5900 xt?
I guess first things first, ATI or nvidia. Which one am I more likely to get more stability with. I'm not really a "hardcore" gamer, but I would also like to be able to play games here or there. I want to be able to run Half Life 2 when it's out. I want to be able to run the grand theft auto games without problems too.
