I would go AMD 939...as for Intel... the Northwood would (hehe) be fine up to around 4GHz when the Prescott starts taking over and the newer chips are a little cooler...still yet the AMD is 64Bit ready, runs cooler, and has the advantage over Intel in Benches, performance, price and future upgrades.
