Yeah, I know each individual part is warrantied. But still, for a prebuilt there's only one company I have to deal with on tech support.... even if it is in india haha. It's sorta disappointing that gateway had to close their stores, I thought that was one of the best (perhaps the only) reason to choose them over dell, cause you could just drive your box over to the store for service. I actually really liked that when I bought my current box, a compusaPC; you could take it to any compusa for service.

The upgrade issue is a valid point. Although I don't figure I'd be doing much upgrading beyond adding RAM, switching a video card or adding a pci card.

I guess here's a better question. IF you were going to get a prebuilt, where would you turn.
