"Used to work".LOL I've got one that's booting to WIN XP, then after I put in the Radeon Drivers and the Multimedia controller and reboot, it stops at the XP Home screen(The black one) because it has no mouse and KB. Has them at the post screen though. Going to change memory slots on this one and then see about disabling the onboard sound.(Brand new KT600-A board.) Got a Shuttle board(AK39N) that every once in awhile does what your describing,gets to the detecting HDD on the post and then just sits, usually a reboot fixes it. Only does it every few months. Have no clue what that is. Running Infineon Registered Ram. Sparkle 350 Watt PS...should be just fine, however...... it's these little glitches that annoy you.
