I just installed a PIII 1 GHZ CPU as an upgrade from 600 MHZ on a Tyan S1854 Trinity 400 motherboard as per the Tyan website. I see these posts about BIOS and clocking and don't know if I need to or how to set the clock speed to run at 1 Gig. Obviously, I also don't know where to show the speed on my computer. Can you help me resolve this?
