Both cpu's are socket 7. So if your motherboard has jumpers to set the correct multiplier and FSB it will work.

Just make sure the core voltage is correct. Don't remember what the old 233 and K6-2 266 ran?

Guess I'm the only one left on cpu-central that was around back when the P1 233 and K6-2 266 were a new chips

I replaced my old K6-2 266 with a K6-III 450 on a Soyo 5EH mobo, still running OpenBSD 3.4 today....
