Thank you for your help Ben, I appreciate it. Basically, I'm not a "gamer" and hardly ever listen to music, etc. so I think any sound card (on board or card) would be sufficient. (I have Altec Lansing speakers and sub if needed.)

I guess what I don't want is a motherboard with on board graphics. I know you can bypass it if its there, yet that still "bothers" me. I'd like to be able to upgrade to the next processor at a later date..... I think everyone likes that option.

I'll have to check the IBM HD, I know its a 120 GB, but off the top of my head I don't know what the model is. BTW, is VIA now NVIDIA?
