A friend told me to look for you here, (You helped my friend by answering questions, figuring out what part, etc. when he built his comp back in the FIC 503+ days.) I hope you don't mind? I'm interested in building a new comp (actually I have a Athlon XP 3000+, and don't want to build a 64 bit until after its been tested a while) yet I know nothing at all about the latest motherboards, sound cards, etc. A few things I'd like (for probably for no practical reasons) is either VIA or SIS choppiest, Award BIOS, ... IBM Hard drive (I have that already so I hope its good!) Possibly a Matrox video card (if they are still good?) Can you make some recommendations by chance?
