When windoze XP 64bit comes out this summer for
Opteron things will change a little. I'm going
to build a dual 240 as soon as I come up with the
cash! Will use SATA RAID 0.

The new SATA 10K drives run 5.2ms access time.
In RAID 0 they should be ummm fast This would
be best for a workstation. If you were running a
server I would say SCSI U320 or U160. Higher
sustained transfer rates, but you won't need that
on a Workstation.

I run 2 WD IDE 80GB/8mb cache drives in RAID 0
with a single P4 Northwood. Works fine
