That's what I thought too.

The program is SolidWorks, and it is running on an AMD 1200, MSI MB, 768M of mem., Matrox G450 vid Card, Win 2000 Pro, and so on. Of course it's not the fastest machine in the world, but it does far surpass the requirements of the software.

It seems like it must be a software issue, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if a CPU brand can really cause programs to crash. Last time I checked, 2+2=4 on both AMD's and P4's. But then again, I'm not a CPU know-it-all.
