I have used both of these programs link below & the adaware you just tried. Like you I was not sure what was taken care of so I ran 2 or three of the programs & yes more was found & different stuff. Some of these programs go very deep into the system & having a back up of your hard drive on another hard drive maybe your only chance to recover.A Registry program is use full to as you can end up with alot of dead end links & wastes time looking for stuff. Like www.regvac.com, this one goes deep into the system if you dig around & study, but be careful. Like Registry Mechanic digs deep to.
