You can upgrade to a pentium III CPU ,the main difference is the adapter you'll need to fit the faster CPU .Take a look at www.hamtronics.nl .On the first page you'll find a link to slotkets and other converters ,some of those ,like the slot-T /socket 370 converter (one you may like very much !!),has an "auto" configuration ,which will make a 100 or 133 MHz CPU custom fit to old motherboards .Right now I'm on the internet with a pc which has such a slotket ,a 1.3 GHz Celeron Tualatin .this combination has functioned without any trouble for over a year ,overclocked @ 1.69 GHz at 35 degrees Celsius average ,standard cooler and fan .With help of "Sandra MAX 2003" we've tuned it up to this ,we might even get another 250 to 300 MHz out easily ,on a motherboard wich was guaranteed to work with CPU's of max. 600 MHz ,keep smiling and give it a go ,it won't hurt you a bit .

Good luck with your pc ,and keep one thing in mind ,if you don't try anything ,you'll never know what can be done ,and what can't ............
