I am not sure if this has been covered on our backup to some there main website lostcircuits but anyways the Luxeon Lumileds Stars are kick ass 100k hours are possible with 50 to 70 % of the brightess remaining. A computer case light project link is here or below

This LEDs slipped pass me as they already come in the old style 1 watt & 5 watt models & now there's the new type the star III or 3 watter that is more effecient & better longer life then the 1 & 5 watt models. This buggers are alot brighter then regular LEDs & you can not look into them, only what they bounce off of (diffuse), these like the sun & welding can hurt yours eyes. I ordered my 3 white 3 watt stars & one soft white 1 watt with optics for a flashlight type beam last night. I ordered from here
http://www.quickar.com/index.php?session=9eTo61Ew
about the best price & only ones that have them in stock BTW info for these lumileds can be gotten from here & a great calulator for finding the Ohms & watts you need is there also.
There is better optics for the stars that can be gotten here
http://www.king-cart.com/cgi-bin/cart.cgi?store=elektrolumens there is 3 links on this page for the luxeon stars & flash lights for now they are out of most of there stuff.
Beleive it or not his all started when I bought some Kryton light bulbs for my flash lights & after I got them home I read the package "average life 15 hours". I picked this model & others like them in the past the halogen & xeon as I like the brighter lights as I am older & I dont see as well anymore.
I cant wait to play with my new toys & have fun.

Bob
