Wow, I thought this board went bye-bye a long time ago! I just found it again thru a search engine. I used to be a regular a while back, but I can't remember what my name was (Psyclopse or Coderunner maybe?) I do recognise some of the names here though.

While I'm at it, I have a question. When I play MP3's with Winamp, I can't do much of anything else with the computer or it makes the music choppy. Surfing the net and scrolling in any window cause the most trouble. My system is a 433 Celeron with 256megs of memory. I have a simple Trident video card. I know I need to upgrade this beast, but my buddy has a slower box with less memory and his music doesn't skip out. Plus, I have been out of the computer world for a while, so I have to learn all the new stuff before I can build another!

What do you think the trouble is?
