I have the MSI GNB MAX (ms-6565) motherboard with onboard promise RAID 0 and 1. Question, do you plug both HD's into IDE 3? Or 1 HD in IDE1 and the other in IDE3?
If I put both HD's on the same ribbon cable plugged into IDE3 the Windoze XP install says "No HD found on you system"? YEs I used the Promise drives on a floppy by hitting F6 at the start of the install.
If I plug 1 HD into IDE1 and 1 HD into IDE3 it only see's 1 of the HD's?
Anyone played with onboard IDE RAID before? I'm using two identical WD800JB drives.
