ok, you are talking about SDRAM, I would think. really, you can run a 512 MB DDR DIMM if everything else is perfect but in 90% of all cases, the board won't be able to drive that load. (based on about 100 RMAs)

If you talk about 1 GB DIMMs, it is correct that the board support the address space (64 M addresses / physical bank but I can almost guarantee you that the board will not POST.
