Well, considering I ran it on one of the other comps in my department that I oversee, and it cracked two of the passwords within a minute, I think that's probably true. The frightening thing is, the computer I did this on is a 486. I can only imagine what the XP 1700+ that my boss has could do.

Is NT4 and Win2K SMB encrypted? I heard it was, and when I ran ethereal on the Linux box we have, I couldn't pick up any plaintext passwords in it. Even the one that I typed in myself, so I could specifically look for it. Maybe I don't have something set right.....I'll play with it again.
