Okay OS install went without a hitch, the only driver I needed was for the G3Ti500.
I appreciated everyone's feedback, but went with the upgrade home version due to cost. Thor was correct, all it asked for was the the 98 CD on a clean install and away it went with NTFS.
I've got one basic question:
How do you stop the annoying popups? Gotta be simple checkbox somewhere.......
