After I removed this vid card and pluged it into the new PC, then returned it - it takes until the Window$ password screen for the monitor to come on. Just sits there on standby.....
This has never hapeened before in 3 years of using this vid card.....hmmm...
I did RTFM....and nothing about jumpers for boot from PCI and I know there's no onboard Vid.
This new mobo has the VT8753 North Bridge and VT8233 South Bridge and onboard Promise RAID Lite.
I'm wndering if it has something to do with the ACPI or APM and hence the monitor is in sleep mode on boot.
Guy at work reckoned it was the RAM....go figure...
