Those were thumbnails. You have to bring them into a program such as "Microsoft Picture It" or "Photo Impressions" and enlarge the photo, then save it.With Win XP, using Explorer automatically brings up Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, or "Paint" might do the job. In any case, the reason for the small size is to speed up the transmission, if I sent the full size picture, it could be 25Mb v/s the compressed which were around 300 to 400 Kb.
