I've got a fairly old NIC I'd like to find drivers for, but there's not much to go on. It was made in china, and the biggest chip reads:

MX98713FC
C9729
THBC5849.1
TAIWAN (Gee, wonder where it was made)

I did a google search for the top line from the chip plus "drivers" and got a bunch of Linux drivers sites. I also foud one site with winders drivers, but it was the wrong manufacturer, I'd guess, as the drivers didn't work.

I also looked for the number plus generic drivers. No luck. I figure the only way to solve it is to figure out who made it (and hope they're satill around).

TIA
-Ben
