I figured there was too much crap up top and you might not see it, but I found out the problem with the CD drive getting an invaslid page fault on autorun. Apparentallly, after installing the VIA drivers for IDE stuff the system didn't react nicely to the 72X drive (I'm guessing because the mobo wasn't designed to use ATA/33 to communicate with CD drives, and that's what it was using.) An old 24X is happy in there now.
