I use USB 2.0 with anexternal case which excepts all types of devices and the CDRW that I use records fine @ the 2.0 speed but as Booman2 mention there are some problems @ the USB1.0 and alot of patience is needed. As far as the PCMCIA speed difference I think you have to have a 32 Bit CardBus and that will allow you to go @ 400Mbits/sec which will handle either USB2.0 or Firewire whereas the 16bit can not work because of its slower speed |
