Ok, I selected large format, the I picked option 5 to change fixed disk.
The I selected disk 2 (the new drive), then I selected dos partition
from the menu, then it asked if I want a "primary partition" or an extended partition".

Which do I choose? Will that be the last thing I need to select before rebooting
and formatting the new drive or are there other menu options I have to go
through in fdisk and what would be the right menu choices?

By the way, I assume that once I have selected large format then I don't
have to go back and select it again after I change the fixed disk to "Disk 2"?
I think if you hit escape after going back to the menu screen (the one with 5 choices),
that will just exit you out of fdisk. I don't think you can escape back
to the "do you want to enable large drive support" page without leaving the
program and re-entering it, at which time it would just default you back to
"disk 1" again. hehe
