I am not expert on duallys or XP or RAID so I can only offer a little moral support and common sense. I do hear that XP screws with the FAT if you let it and my instinct would be not to allow that.
also : check IDE connections by taking them out and putting them back in - also power connectors
: get into BIOS (if you can) and reserve IRQs and or juggle the cards about a bit in different slots, sometimes slot one and AGP should not be used at same time and other slots may be shared
: try reducing RAM to one stick
: leave SBLive out until you have AGP working as SBL is a @£$%*#r (I have one)
: just leave it for an hour or two as this inexplicably can change things in the box re charge accumulation and also allows you to think
