The GF4 MX420 doesn't have the AA improvements or even the pixel shaders that the full blown GF4s do. A GF4 MX420 is really a nicely clocked GF2 mated to the GF4's improved memory architecture. Which is why I purchased a GF3 Ti200. (As I still can't find the GF4 Ti4200, Anyone know where one might be? I am RMAing my curent GF3 Ti200 back to newegg with a refund instead of a replacement so that I can repruchase one before sending my curent card back. Whcih gives me the option to go anywhere for my new card as I didn't see any GF4 Ti4200s there though |
