won't really help because it is the BIOS version of the ASUS boards that defines how the different thermistor values are being read and MBM5 can only put a GUI on the read out of the BIOS. It is sort of an old story that from one to another BIOS version of the ASUS boards, you can get 100 % increase or 50% decrease in temperatures...

doesn't really matter, though, as long as the heatsink is mounted properly and gets kind of warm ...
