I have the same processor but on an Abit VL6 with a Via chipset. The temps you mention seem to be in line with what I was experiencing on the probe (that was before I installed XP with which the via utility will not work). As for the difference in the Bios Temp and the probe temp, that is a good question. I would also be interested to see current comments on the max for this processor as I really did not get an answer that satisfied me last summer when I posed the same question.
