I've a K6-II 450 at 6x75MHz and 2,5 V instead of 2,4 (2,4 ist not possble on mobo), with a VERY large Heatsink (150x100x50 mm), running stable.
It's true, AMD K6-X produce much heat.

The Voltages are not super clean, but ok, as ludicrous said.
