A friend ask me to look at his system which was making beeping noises (overheat alarm set at 60C). I put in a case fan, took the processor fan and heatsink off and applied Heatsink Compound. Standing temperature is now holding at 50C, but I wanted some clarification on the voltages currently displayed in the bios readings. It is an Award Bios, readings layout as follows:
CPUcore: 2.38V CPU i/o : 3.34V
+5V : 4.91V +12V : 12.52V
-12V :-12.09V -5V : -5.55V

This system is not overclocked.....are these readings normal or is there a chance the PS is creating the problems. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
