I do not oc so that is not a problem. You say 5% tolerence is ok, so in that case, if the component is rated at 120 volts, 127 volts would be too high? I guess the annoying part is, I want to use the monitor and was hoping for some answers. And, you are right, the controlable PS's are expensive. Cheaper to buy new 20" monitor LOL
