What OS on both computers ?
& how are your network neigborhood setup ?
to get a couple of my computers to see each other I had to enable netbeu yek
I have TCP & IPX enable on all my computers & files & printers are shared set to read only.
All network cards are not the same & ME (why ?) & XP (firewall) are picky also.
My computers are win 98 FE.
