Ohh will it ever end?

Bad has gone to worse. We get in touch, and I have her boot her PC, but no go. SO I tell her how to bench test the PS, and it works, but the mobo won't even power on now. The only thing I can think is that the mobo went dead. I have NO clue whiy it would though. Possibly ESD. That's the only thing I can think. It is under warranty, but can I hear some input on my plan.

I am going to have her hook everything back up, but instead of using the PS switch (or the jumpers on the JPF1 header) I'm going to have her do the green wire PS trick. Is there any reason why we should not do this?
