Thought about that tonight so I unchecked WIN98 compatibility mode. Couldn't see any real difference. It finally locked up in the one house in one neighborhood....but I was able to get out with Ctrl-Alt_del, this time it brought the screen up for me. Noticed the CPU usage was at 86%, and then I got the cute little M$ do you want to send a report to M$ that the Sims exe isn't responding? Noooooooooooo I want to send it to Maxis...Grrrrr!
