This is what our XP computer had to be set @ to work with our new changed cable internet service from @home.com to @comcast.net. Are you doing the DNS automaticaly too ?

1. Go to the "Start" menu then select "Control Panel" then select "Network
and Internet Connections" then select "Network Connections".
2. Double-Click on "Local Area Connection" and then click on "Properties".
3. Select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" and then click on "Properties".
4. Select "Obtain an IP Address Automatically" and "Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically".
5. Click on the "OK" button and you may be prompted to restart your machine.
