Yeah, have them use the coax outlet next to the computer. They'll run a coax cable from the wall to the cable modem, then CAT5 from the cable modem to your system. Later, you can plug your hub (will require multiple IP's from cable company) or firewall/router (will build internal network that uses 1 company-assigned IP for externat access) directly into the cable modem with CAT5 and connect your systems to the router with CAT5. If you use a firewall/router there will be some software config, but it's pretty straightforward and the manuals I've seen explain well. |
