Ok Thermal Epoxy...good so far. Does the CPU still work, uh...not sure. She said it wouldn't boot...so dunno yet if the processor is damaged or not. I think she said all she did was turn it on and it wouldn't boot so she opened up the case and the fan fell out....now when it broke loose is a good question. After they shut it off? Was running ok before...but this is a kids machine so ya never know. I may have to check the processor out on Annie's machine to see if it's ok yet. Only other K62-500 machine I have nearby. She'll love me for that, huh?
THanks...I was on the right trail then. Glue it to it if everything is still ok otherwise.
How many damn pins in that Zif socket? Nooooooo
