I was thinking it was more like a P2 or P3 class & getting to play with the BIOS chip might have been fun. Replacing a crystal would be easy & I might have that one or easy access to the right one. & I have some old eproms & somewhere I have an old eprom programmer (ISA slot) that I made adapters for so I read or program the the larger chips that came out after that (I added switches on ZIF's).
