ne1 know how to get WinME movie maker to work ?

I am just playing with it before I get firewire but its frustrating as all I get is a blank screen, using an Elsa Gladiac Gef2 with daughter philips VIVO card as mentioned here in this Google cache . I just get a blank or a pink recording screen, having tried all the PAL formats as its a PAL cam.

I have Elsa proprietary drivers installed.
