XP 1700+ on my Iwill KK266-R with the latest BIOS = a no go on my board. Sure the BIOS detected the CPU properly, but anything that would be CPU intensive = Hard System Crash. 3Dmark 2000/2001, any game, and playing MP3's. Using a fresh WinXP Pro install with the latest VIA Drivers (except the IDE Busmaster Drivers)

Tried the exact same CPU on my older Abit KT7A-Raid rev 1.0 and it did the exact samething and I know for a fact that the KT7A-Raid rev 1.0 doesn't support XP's and from what I've seen neither does my Iwill KK266-R rev 1.2. I believe the Iwill KK266 Plus and KK266-R Plus do, but not the KK266 or KK266-R.

Sincerely,

Best4x4
