Had to fix one of them today, I thought they died off. It was a K6-2 400, seemed simple enough. Couldn't beleive how they casterated windows. Couldn't change display setting, device manager was missing, add/remove hardware was missing.
specs were:
400mhz k6-2
sis 530 motherboard
32 megs ram
3 gig hard drive

upgraded to 256 megs
30 gig hd
installed norton AV, was loaded with the loveletter virus

The guy thinks he has a new machine now

just needed a refresher on why I hate packard bell
