Maybe try boot from XP disk and select "Repair XP Install". I THINK this should reinstall the OS and fix the dual boot.

NOT SURE, NEVER TRIED IT.

I have done this many times with messed up Win98se install, never failed to fix things -- 'course that wasn't XP and Dual Boot.
